Ishikari Bay New Port A distribution base on Hokkaido's Japan Sea coast
The wave in the middle stands for the Japan Sea, and the two long, thin triangles at the top and left stand for the port. This logo symbolizes Ishikari Bay New Port’s development into the future, and the overall design resembles the Chinese character for stone, “Ishi”, the first character in “Ishikari”. The logo was introduced on August 1, 1982.
